Fishing for Elk in Canada99 viewsThis Elk was shot during the season but got away. It had an infection and wandered into the river some fisherman were doing some trout fishing on. The Elk was running a fever from the infection and was too weak to swim and drowned. The fisherman pulled it to shore and called the game warden, who issued the fisherman a tag and gave him the rack and head. Only guy I know that took an Elk with a fly fishing rod!
